You’re Only Young Once
Yo Yo’s is our network for Primary aged children. In Yo Yos we help children to make great friends with each other, have fun, learn about Jesus and experience His love and power. The children’s groups are based upon the core values of ENC:
 High Voltage Worship
 Wide Community
 Deep discipleship
 Long arm of outreach
Just as for the grown ups, we help children to develop a life that is Strong at the Core - secure in the love Jesus has for them - and Blurred at the Edge - consciously reaching out to people in the world. The structure and content of sessions is planned around these values:
first Sunday: Youth and children’s worship
Yo Yo’s join The Blast ( 11-14 year olds) for worship. In these sessions we focus on helping children to grow as worshippers, to learn songs that are used in the main gatherings and to have opportunities to express worship with stillness and quiet as well as lots of noise.
second Sunday in the month: Core Tea
Core tea gives children the opportunity to create community as the older Yo Yo’s prepare and serve tea to younger children and clear up too. For children who love practical tasks and/or especially enjoy entertaining younger children, this might be their favourite activity.
Third, fourth and fifth Sundays:
in these sessions children learn about and experience Jesus through Bible stories, discussion, creative activities, games, learning to pray together and alone.
Special Sundays:
At Christmas and Easter we have all age gatherings when Yo Yo’s join in the main gathering
Edge Sunday when Yo Yo’s join in with all kinds of Blurred edge activites
SuperSundays: Away days when we have extended Yo Yo’s sessions and join the adults for food, games, sports and hanging out together.
