Essence is our 18-25s Network at ENC. We are a community of students and young adults who believe we are called to keep our hearts clean but get our hands dirty.

Whether you're a Christian, just looking at what you believe in, a student or in full time work, it's a place to explore God, worship of Him as a lifestyle, learn more about His empowering spirit in your life and discover ways to practically live out your faith in Jesus Christ.

Essence meets on Thursday evenings upstairs at Oldtimers next to Timepiece. We meet at 7.30pm, feel to grab a drink from the bar downstairs and join us for cake and catch ups at the beginning. Evenings vary, sometimes it is purely social, other times it is a talk or discussion. The best way to keep up to date with us is to join our Facebook group.

There is lots to get involved in at ENC both through Essence and the wider church (Kids works, Worship, Healing on the Streets, work with the YMCA...just a few examples!!) We are excited about what each person can bring to the community and we are always open to new ideas. It is important for us to be a part of the wider ENC family, so we'd love you to join us at the 7pm gathering (5pm every 2nd Sunday of the month) at Maynard's School (EX1 1SJ). For tea and cake come at 6ish
