THE LEAGUE

We have had several ‘friendly’ fixtures over the last couple of years but we are now launching a new church league involving Old Chapel, Riverside, Isca and New Frontiers. So… it’s all getting serious!!! This is a really exciting opportunity to build relationships across Exeter and all of the churches involved are committed to having a blurred edge approach. As well as playing as a team more regularly, we hope to be able to support one another and meet for social events.

VENUE

All matches will take place on the astro turf pitch at St Peter’s Church of England VA School in Exeter on Fridays from 7.00 – 9.00 pm.

THE TEAM

If you want to play, we would love you to! Just email Simon Wilding on skim@talktalk.net and you will be included in all team notices. You have to be over 16 years of age. Our approach is an inclusive one and we celebrate a blend of youth and experience!!! If we have a large squad for a particular fixture, we aim to ensure that everybody gets a game.

LEAGUE RULES

The home team will provide a referee (and linesmen if possible).
Rules will be standard 11-a-side, except that any number of substitutions will be allowed at half time… only 3 during normal play.
Each player to contribute £4 per game. This is to cover, hire of pitch, insurance and affiliation with the Devon FA.
