Ministry Leader Roles

Exeter Network Church is a growing church which emphasises mission and life in the  Spirit.   We have a range of leadership opportunities available. We have part-time (2-3 days a week) leadership roles with students, young adults and children and families.  You are invited to apply for one role or, if you have relevant experience, you may wish to apply for two of the roles and thereby create a full-time post.

Student leader

 We are looking for an experienced leader to develop our well-established student hub, Essence.  Essence has 90 students signed up with around 70 regularly participating in the midweek hub.  Essence needs a leader who loves students, who has theological and cultural insight and experience of creating and leading teams.  This leadership role means building upon existing strengths and developing missional effectiveness.

Young Adults Leader (25-30's)

We are looking for an experienced leader to innovate leadership of a growing number of young adults (generally pre-family life) who are joining the church. This leader will empower young adults to connect, integrate into church and grow to maturity in Christ.  They will also encourage and strengthen them to embrace the joys and challenges of daily work and relationships and to develop an everyday missional life.

Children and Families Leader

We are looking for an experienced leader who can oversee children leaders and volunteer teams for children from age 1 to year 5. Our children's ministry expresses the culture of our church life which is about action and encounter with God as well as knowledge and understanding of God.  This leader will also innovate around strengthening young families and encouraging them in everyday mission.

Exeter Network Church is looking for a dynamic & engaging administrator to join the staff team to replace a member of staff retiring and to strengthen the team.   Exeter Network Church is a growing church which emphasises mission and life in the Spirit.  We are a Bishops Mission Order in the Diocese of Exeter and are currently around 400 strong with a wide range of ages.  As a church we are an encouraging, welcoming community who believe that Jesus transforms everything, and we want to partner with the Holy Spirit to bring the life and hope of Jesus in Exeter.  Do check out our website (www.enc.uk.net) to find out more about us and see all that we’re up to.

The purpose of the role is to be a point of contact for the church office, to oversee Sunday coordination, undertake pastoral admin, PA tasks for the Church Leaders and provide general administrative support for the day-to-day running of the church.  This person will join our Staff Team of about 12 people (a mixture of full and part-time) and take part in our weekly staff meeting and prayers.
